Christine Irizarry started Tradition Accounting and Bookkeeping to work with small, home-based and local business in South Florida and beyond with remote accounting options to aid with back office accounting and bookkeeping needs. As a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, she holds a Masters Degree in Accounting with a concentration on Forensic Accounting. Christine is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and maintains credentials with the ACFE and must satisfy yearly continuing education in the evolving fields of fraud, general accounting, theft and deterrence. Christine spent 15 years working in the real estate industry and spent much of her time working with Fortune 100 companies in New York and West Palm Beach. She uses her experience of running corporate accounting departments to help business owners maintain their financial records, mitigate risk from employee theft, create internal controls and provides an effective labor alternative for accounting and bookkeeping roles.
Christine works with General Contractors and Real Estate Developers in the West Palm Beach area because construction projects are sometimes complicated and managing the paperwork requires discipline and attentiveness. She is an accountant with a particular skill-set that knows how to manage the laborers, subcontractors, consultants, project managers and material suppliers.
Christine is also very passionate about female entrepreneurs and helping them succeed. She's actively involved with many professional networking groups for women, an entrepreneurship group for women, a real estate networking group and a networking group with the Hispanic Chamber.
